Sanaa Foreign Ministry Says Retaliatory Strikes on Saudi Arabia Will Continue

Sanaa’s Foreign Ministry has said it will maintain the equations of “siege for siege” and “escalation of attacks for escalation of attacks” in response to the continued Saudi strikes.

The body accused Saudi Arabia of continuing its attacks on civilians and residential areas in Yemen, saying even agricultural land had been targeted.

In a statement, the Sanaa Foreign Ministry said Yemeni women and children had also been affected by the attacks, which it said were taking place in the “silence of the world.” The ministry stressed that the increase in attacks would not force Sanaa to retreat from its declared position.

According to Al Mayadeen, Saudi Arabia carried out extensive airstrikes yesterday on the provinces of Sanaa, Saada, Taiz, Hajjah and Marib. Sanaa’s Foreign Ministry said a number of Yemeni civilians were killed in these strikes.
