Yemen rights body accuses Saudi Arabia of war crimes in Saada strikes

Yemen’s National Human Rights body, affiliated with the Houthis’ Ansarullah movement, has accused Saudi Arabia of attacking residential areas in Saada province and committing a war crime, an allegation made in the body’s statement and not independently verified.
The body said the Manbeh district and areas in the Al-Mahall and Al-Qahr-Hattab neighborhoods were targeted. According to the group, missile and artillery strikes also hit the Al-Jabana area in Razih and villages in Al-Dhaher, Maran and Haydan.
The statement said the attacks also put civilians and African migrant asylum seekers in Yemen at risk. The body described the Saada incidents as part of what it called a “policy of planned and continuous killing,” and said the actions are in conflict with the Geneva Conventions and humanitarian law.
