Pakistan Says It Will Continue Trade With Iran Despite US Sanctions

Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry has said it will continue trading with Tehran despite US sanctions on Iran, describing the sanctions as unilateral and outside the framework of United Nations Security Council decisions.

In a statement, the ministry said Pakistan remains committed to international law and is in contact with the parties involved in the issue of sanctions and trade with Iran.

Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry has called on Tehran and Washington to exercise restraint and resolve remaining issues through dialogue and diplomacy.
