Hamid Karzai condemns Pakistan’s attacks in Kunar and Helmand

Hamid Karzai, Afghanistan’s former president, has strongly condemned Pakistani air strikes on residential areas in the eastern province of Kunar and the southern province of Helmand, describing them as an “infringement on Afghanistan’s territory and a violation” of the country’s sovereignty.
On Thursday, 9 Mizan, Karzai urged Pakistani officials to reconsider their hostile policies and enemy schemes instead of making excuses and killing Afghan women and children, and to stop fuelling extremism and stoking division.
He also called on Pakistan to engage with Afghanistan on the basis of good neighbourliness and civilised relations.
