Taliban Industry Minister Travels to Belarus for Industrial Expo

Nouruddin Azizi, the acting minister of industry and commerce in the Taliban administration, has travelled to Belarus with a delegation to take part in the country’s second international industrial exhibition. Expanding trade, industrial and agricultural cooperation has been listed among the topics of the visit.

According to the ministry, Azizi will visit various sections of the exhibition and attend a general meeting of the participating countries. His trip also includes meetings with Belarusian ministers of foreign affairs, agriculture and industry.

The Taliban administration’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce said these meetings will examine investment potential and ways to create new opportunities between the two countries. The ministry expects the visit to Minsk to help increase industrial cooperation and strengthen economic and trade relations, although these points remain part of the plans and expectations announced by the ministry.

In a separate event, Nur Jalal Jalali, the acting minister of public health in the Taliban administration, also arrived in Belarus yesterday at the head of a delegation. According to the ministry, the delegation is expected to examine Belarus’s health system capacity and areas of cooperation in pharmaceuticals, medical education and specialised treatment.
