43 Iranian Oil Tankers Rejected and Sent Back from Nimroz

Forty-three oil tankers imported from Iran in Afghanistan’s Nimroz province have been rejected after quality checks and sent back to Iran.

Nematullah Talha, the director general of oil and gas in Nimroz, said the tankers were found to be substandard after sampling, technical assessment and quality control.

He urged traders to keep the national interest in mind when importing fuel and to avoid bringing in poor-quality petroleum products.

Nimroz province is one of Afghanistan’s key trade gateways with Iran, and part of the country’s oil imports are brought through this route.
