Hezbollah to Hold Second Anniversary Event for Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut

Lebanon’s Hezbollah has announced that the second memorial ceremony marking the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the party’s slain secretary-general, will be held next Sunday at his shrine in Beirut’s southern suburbs.

Hezbollah-affiliated media said the event will also commemorate Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, another slain Hezbollah secretary-general in Lebanon, as well as a number of people who were martyred alongside them.

According to the report, the ceremony will take place at 4:30 p.m. local time at the shrine of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in the southern suburbs of Beirut.

The southern suburbs of Beirut are considered one of Hezbollah’s main centers of influence in Lebanon, and the party’s major events are usually held in the area.
