France, Britain and Canada Back Palestinian Statehood

Reports indicate that at the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, France, Britain and Canada supported efforts to establish a Palestinian state and implement a two-state solution.

According to these reports, the three countries said they support a process aimed at creating a Palestinian state alongside a political two-state solution.

At the same time, Canada announced that it will allocate 100 million Canadian dollars specifically to assist Palestinians.

The UN General Assembly is one of the international body’s most important annual meetings, where countries set out their positions on major global issues, including the Palestine-Israel conflict.
