Two Killed, Four Injured in Vehicle Rollover in Afghanistan’s Faryab
Two people have been killed and four others injured in a traffic accident in Afghanistan’s northern Faryab province. The incident took place in the Qaflan-Dara area of Pashtun Kot district.
The Taliban-controlled police command in Faryab said in a statement on Wednesday, 1 Mizan, that a vehicle overturned after veering off the road. According to the authority, the injured were taken to hospital for treatment.
The incident comes as traffic accidents continue to claim lives in different parts of Afghanistan. In similar incidents, eight people were previously killed in Takhar province, while in another incident in Laghman province one person was killed and nine others injured.
Faryab is one of Afghanistan’s northern provinces, and Pashtun Kot district is located in this province.
