Bakhtar chief discusses expanding media cooperation in Russia
Mawlawi Ehsanullah Husan, head of the Bakhtar News Agency, has met with representatives of a number of regional and international news agencies during the Asia-Pacific News Agencies Organization (OANA) media forum in Russia.
According to Bakhtar, the meetings were held with representatives of media outlets from Iran, Russia, Laos, Nepal, the Philippines, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Japan, Azerbaijan, Turkey and India, and focused on expanding media cooperation and strengthening joint activities.
Bakhtar said discussions at the meetings also covered the signing of cooperation memorandums between the agency and the aforementioned media organisations. Representatives of these news agencies also stressed the development of media relations in talks with the head of Bakhtar.
The report said the aim of the meetings was to strengthen ties between Bakhtar and media outlets in the region and around the world, as well as to bolster joint media cooperation.
Mawlawi Ehsanullah Husan has travelled to Russia to participate in the OANA media forum. OANA is a media organisation in the Asia-Pacific region, where representatives of news agencies from different countries discuss media cooperation, the publication of accurate information and ways to prevent misinformation.
