Road Paving Begins in Khost After 30 Years of Closure

Khost municipality has announced that it has begun paving a road that passes by the Intelligence Directorate and, according to the body, had been closed for the past 30 years.

According to officials, the project has also been included in the new development plan. They said reopening the road will make travel easier for residents of the area.

Officials also said reopening the route could help reduce traffic congestion in this part of Khost city.

Khost is one of Afghanistan’s southeastern provinces, and its capital is Khost city. The Intelligence Directorate is one of the security institutions under Taliban administration.
