Taliban delegation visits Belarusian tractor plant
A Taliban delegation led by Mullah Attaullah Omari, acting minister of agriculture, irrigation and livestock, visited the Minsk Tractor Works during a trip to Belarus.
According to the Taliban administration, members of the delegation toured various production sections during the visit and familiarised themselves with the process of manufacturing tractors and other agricultural machinery.
According to published information, the plant’s executive deputy said the company was ready to expand cooperation with Afghanistan and assured that tractors and agricultural machinery would be exported to the country.
Minsk Tractor Works is one of Belarus’s well-known tractor manufacturing centres, and the visit came as Afghanistan’s agriculture sector has a broad need for standard equipment and machinery.
