Explosion at private school in Kabul leaves 52 wounded

Sources say at least 52 people were wounded after an explosion at the Sham-e Hidayat private school in Kabul.
The incident took place at about 4:55 p.m. on Monday in the Mahdia township, which is part of Kabul’s 18th security district.
According to the sources, the explosion was caused by a hand grenade, which was in the possession of one of the students.
The Sham-e Hidayat school is located in western Kabul, an area that has repeatedly witnessed security incidents in recent years.
