Ansarallah missile strikes halt operations at Al-Mokha port
Commercial and maritime operations at Al-Mokha port have been suspended following a new round of Ansarallah attacks in Yemen, an incident that has affected sea traffic and port activity in the city.
Media outlets affiliated with the Aden-based authorities reported that Ansarallah targeted Al-Mokha with ballistic missiles and drones. According to these reports, a ballistic missile hit the Al-Kahraba road in Al-Mokha.
The Al-Mokha Port Authority said at a press conference last night that port and commercial operations at the facility had been suspended following the recent attacks. Reuters reported that the authority said seven people were killed in the strikes and about $16 million in damage was caused.
Al-Mokha is considered one of Yemen’s important ports on the Red Sea coast, and any disruption to its operations could affect the movement of goods and maritime traffic in the area.
