ICRC Provides Health Services to Over 615,000 Patients in Afghanistan in Six Months

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) reports that more than 615,000 patients in Afghanistan have benefited from its health services during the first six months of the current solar year.

The organization added on its X (formerly Twitter) page on Sunday, August 9, that in the same period, support and rehabilitation services were also provided to over 105,000 people with disabilities.

According to published information, more than 83,000 individuals across various regions of the country have gained access to safe drinking water during this timeframe.

Afghanistan continues to face shortages in health services and limited access to safe drinking water. Humanitarian organizations, including the International Committee of the Red Cross, are actively working to address these needs in different provinces.
