Afghan Freedom Front Reports Killing of Two Taliban Intelligence Officers in Jalalabad

The Afghan Freedom Front announced on Friday that two members of the Taliban’s intelligence department were killed and another wounded in an attack by its forces on the Taliban intelligence chief’s headquarters in the sixth district of Jalalabad. According to a statement released by the front, the assault took place on Thursday evening. The statement added that the fate of the Taliban intelligence chief in this district remains unknown. Taliban officials have yet to comment on the incident. In recent weeks, the Afghan Freedom Front and several other anti-Taliban fronts have reported an increase in their attacks. The front also announced on Friday that its forces launched missile attacks targeting Kabul’s military airport.
