Five German Soldiers Investigated for Theft at Kabul Airport During 2021 Evacuation

German media have reported that five soldiers from the German Army are under investigation for alleged involvement in theft during the evacuation operation at Kabul airport in 2021.
According to the Bild newspaper, the incident took place in the military section of Kabul airport, where military equipment and souvenirs were being offered for sale. The soldiers are accused of taking T-shirts and fabric patches from military uniforms. There are also reports of several knives disappearing from the same section.
