Education Directorate Team Wins Opening Match of Bamyan Futsal Cup

The first match of the ‘Clean City Cup’ futsal tournament in Bamyan province concluded with a victory for the Education Directorate team. The team defeated the Technical and Vocational Education Administration with a score of 2-1.

Rajab Ali Fetrat, Technical and Vocational Director of the Bamyan Physical Education and Sports Department, stated that the competition is organized by the Bamyan Municipality in coordination with the provincial Physical Education and Sports Department. According to him, 21 teams from government institutions are participating in this tournament.

Mr. Fetrat added that the opening match was held between the Education Directorate team and the Technical and Vocational Education Administration, with the Education Directorate ultimately emerging victorious.

Additionally, Hafez Shafiq-ur-Rahman Rahimi, Head of Physical Education and Sports in Bamyan, said the tournament will continue for three weeks. He noted that the purpose of holding these competitions is to promote and develop futsal among employees of government institutions in the province.
