Coordination Meeting Held for Media Coverage of Iran’s Martyred Leader’s Funeral in Iraq

Iraqi sources have announced that a coordination meeting was held to organize media coverage and the arrangements for the funeral ceremony of Iran’s martyred leader in Iraq. The mechanism for joint cooperation among the involved parties has been finalized. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, July 8, in the cities of Karbala and Najaf.
According to a report by the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) information center, the meeting was attended by Muhannad al-Uqabi, director of the PMF media office, and Hassan al-Jubouri, deputy head of the media section at the Imam Hussein Shrine.
During the meeting, both sides discussed how to coordinate media efforts, divide responsibilities, and take necessary measures to ensure the ceremony is conducted in an orderly manner. The goal of these coordination efforts is to unify efforts and provide extensive and organized coverage of the funeral.
Karbala and Najaf are among Iraq’s most important religious cities, and holding the ceremony in these two cities requires extensive security and media coordination. Further details about the ceremony’s programs have not yet been released.
