11 Dead in Tourist Plane Crash Near Nancy, France

A tourist plane carrying passengers on a skydiving tour crashed this morning in the Tomblaine area near the city of Nancy, France, killing at least 11 people.
According to the French news agency AFP, the incident occurred at around 11 a.m. local time. Among the victims were five skydiving instructors, five students, and the experienced pilot of the flight.
Reports indicate that three of the occupants were thrown from the plane during the crash. All victims were residents of Nancy.
Information released states that some of the victims, several of whom were nurses, were experiencing skydiving for the first time. French local authorities have yet to provide further details regarding the exact cause of the plane crash.
