Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian Officially Welcomed in Islamabad

Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, arrived in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, a few minutes ago leading an official delegation and was officially welcomed by senior Pakistani officials.
According to a report by Mehr News Agency, Asif Ali Zardari, President of Pakistan, and Shehbaz Sharif, the country’s Prime Minister, formally received Mr. Pezeshkian in a ceremony.
Further details regarding the objectives of this trip and the schedule for the bilateral meetings have not yet been released. It is expected that during this visit, topics related to bilateral relations and regional cooperation will be discussed.
As neighboring countries, Iran and Pakistan have consistently maintained ongoing relations and interactions in political, economic, and regional arenas.
