CAIR Condemns Killing of Palestinian Infant Amid West Bank Israeli Attacks

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the largest Muslim civil rights organization in the United States, has strongly condemned the recent Israeli military operations in the West Bank that led to the deaths of at least seven Palestinians, including a seven-month-old infant. The organization called for an end to support for these attacks and immediate action to protect Palestinian civilians.
According to a report by Anadolu Agency, CAIR stated in a release that the killing of the seven-month-old baby in an illegally occupied area is a shocking crime that deeply wounds the conscience of every human being. The statement emphasized that the continuation of such incidents raises serious questions about respect for human rights and international laws.
The statement further asserted that no military force repeatedly targeting children, medical workers, journalists, and other civilians should be granted immunity or support. CAIR urged the US government and the international community to take concrete and practical steps to end the occupation and ensure the safety of Palestinian civilians.
Reports indicate that Israeli soldiers opened fire on a Palestinian family’s vehicle in the southern West Bank, injuring three family members, including an infant. The child later died from the severity of the wounds sustained.
