Second Tirmiz Dialogue to Be Held in Uzbekistan from June 4-6

The second session of the “Tirmiz Dialogue” is scheduled to take place from June 4 to 6 in the city of Tirmiz, Uzbekistan. The event will be held under the slogan “Peace, Connectivity, and Resilience: Building the Foundation for Shared Prosperity.” The program aims to discuss strengthening regional cooperation and creating common platforms for development.

According to published information, representatives from governments, international organizations, and research institutions from Afghanistan, Central and South Asia, Europe, and several other regions will participate in this conference. The main focus of the discussions will be on regional connectivity, security, climate change, and expanding cooperation with Afghanistan.

The issue of regional connectivity holds special importance for Central and South Asian countries, as this region is recognized as a crossroads between South Asia, Central Asia, and Europe. Developing transit and economic routes can significantly impact the region’s economic conditions and political stability.

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Pakistan also confirmed the holding of this meeting and its key discussion topics in a newsletter published on its official website.
