New Educational Referral System for Migrant Students to Be Implemented Across Iran Starting Tomorrow

The issuance of educational referral letters for migrant students holding residency passports, family registration documents, and other valid residence papers is set to be rolled out in guardianship offices throughout Iran starting tomorrow. This measure aims to streamline the registration process and continuation of education for migrant students in the upcoming academic year.

According to IRNA, Seyed Ali Hosseini, a reporter specializing in migrant affairs in Tehran, wrote that the implementation of this plan in Tehran province will be conducted through the “Kanoon Nobat” online system, and applicants must submit their requests online. In other provinces, the process will be conducted in person, requiring families to visit guardianship offices directly.

Based on published information, due to upcoming holidays, there is a possibility that the practical implementation of this plan may be delayed, postponing the issuance of referral letters to next week.

Guardianship offices in Iran are responsible for managing residency affairs and providing certain administrative services to migrants. The educational referral letter is one of the necessary documents required for the official enrollment of migrant students in the country’s schools.
