Taliban Administration Announces Five-Day Holiday for Eid al-Adha

The Taliban Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has announced in a statement that all government offices will be closed from May 26 to May 30 in observance of the Day of Arafah and Eid al-Adha.
According to the statement, this five-day consecutive holiday will apply to all government institutions. Officials have stated that employees are expected to return to their duties as usual after the holiday period.
Furthermore, the statement noted that government offices will resume their activities on Sunday, May 31. Eid al-Adha is considered one of the major Islamic holidays, celebrated annually with religious and traditional ceremonies across the country.
