Russia Expresses Concern Over Japan’s Military Aid to Ukraine

Mikhail Galuzin, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, raised Moscow’s concerns about Tokyo’s policy of providing military aid to Ukraine during a meeting with Muneo Suzuki, a member of the Japanese parliament. He stated that this approach could negatively impact bilateral relations between Russia and Japan.

According to a report by the RIA Novosti news agency, Galuzin emphasized that continued Japanese military assistance to Kyiv makes relations between Moscow and Tokyo more vulnerable. He added that such actions are incompatible with the current state of relations between the two countries.

The Russian deputy foreign minister also urged Japanese officials to refrain from providing military aid to Ukraine. These remarks come as the war in Ukraine continues to cast a shadow over political and security relations at both regional and global levels.
