‘Tutbagh’ Commercial Center Opens in Takhar with 24 Million Afghani Investment

The ‘Tutbagh’ commercial market, constructed at a cost of 24 million Afghani, has been completed and officially inaugurated in the center of Takhar province. This project is located in the city of Taloqan and was funded by the municipal development budget.

Mawlavi Abdul Ghafour Seerat, the Mayor of Taloqan, stated at the inauguration ceremony that the construction of the center had progressed over the past two years using the municipal development funds. According to him, the project is part of the city’s broader development plans.

According to provided information, the center is built on a land area of 1,200 square meters and includes 84 shops, two large halls, and other essential facilities. Officials say that once operational, the commercial center will provide better opportunities for traders to conduct their business.

The Mayor of Taloqan also expressed hope that the opening of this commercial center will stimulate greater economic activity in the city. Meanwhile, citizens emphasize that alongside launching new projects, the Taliban administration should pay serious attention to improving urban services, ensuring budget transparency, and addressing the basic needs of residents.

It is reported that work is currently ongoing on several other development projects in Takhar province, which are expected to be completed and inaugurated in due course.
