Construction Begins on Joint Afghanistan-Uzbekistan Orchard in Faryab Province

Construction of a joint orchard between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan on 300 jeribs of land in the Khan Charbagh district of Faryab province will soon commence. The project aims to strengthen agricultural cooperation between the two countries.
A delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan visited the designated area for the project in this district and reviewed the preparation process.
According to the information provided, the delegation emphasized expediting the implementation and instructed that the planting of saplings begin as soon as possible.
Faryab, located in northern Afghanistan, is a province where a large portion of the population is engaged in agricultural activities. The establishment of such projects can facilitate the expansion of technical cooperation and the exchange of expertise in horticulture.
