Israeli Air Strikes Hit Hospital and Ambulances in Southern Lebanon, Injuring 21

Lebanon’s Ministry of Health has reported that at least 21 people have been injured following Israeli air strikes in the southern regions of the country, with one health center also sustaining damage. According to official information, the strikes targeted the areas of Al-Housh and Ma’raka.

The ministry stated that in Al-Housh, 11 individuals were wounded, including three emergency responders. It has also been confirmed that a hospital building in the same area suffered damage due to these attacks.

Reports indicate that the total number of injured across the two mentioned areas amounts to 21. No further details have been released regarding the medical conditions of the wounded.

Earlier, images showing ambulances being targeted in southern Lebanon were circulated in the media, increasing concerns about the protection of medical facilities and healthcare workers during conflicts. Under international humanitarian law principles, healthcare facilities and emergency personnel must be protected from military attacks.
