Emirates’ Etihad Airways Begins Flights to Afghanistan for the First Time

Afghanistan’s Taliban-led Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has announced that Etihad Airways, the international airline of the United Arab Emirates, has commenced its flights to Afghanistan for the first time. According to the ministry, the airline’s inaugural flight landed at one of the country’s airports on Friday, March 19.
