Families Await Bodies of Victims After Kabul Airstrike on Drug Treatment Center

Hundreds of mothers, fathers, sisters, and brothers gathered on Tuesday outside a hospital treating drug addicts in Kabul, anxiously waiting to receive the bodies of their children and relatives. According to them, these individuals were either killed or wounded in last night’s airstrike.
The families stated that their patients were being treated at the ‘Omid’ Health Center, a 2,000-bed facility specialized in treating drug addicts. This center is considered one of the largest specialized addiction treatment hospitals in Kabul.
The protesters claim that the attack was carried out by Pakistan’s military regime, resulting in numerous patients inside the health center being killed and injured. They demanded clarification on the circumstances of the incident and accountability from those responsible.
As of this report, no official details have been released regarding the exact number of victims or how the attack occurred. The event has raised new concerns over the protection of medical facilities and the safety of civilians amid regional tensions.
