New Epstein Documents Reveal Lawyer Represented Fethullah Gulen in US

Newly released documents from the US Department of Justice related to Jeffrey Epstein’s case reveal that Reid Weingarten, Epstein’s lawyer, previously served as the legal representative for Fethullah Gulen in the United States.

According to Turkish media citing official sources, these documents are part of over three million pieces of evidence made publicly available in the extensive investigation into Epstein’s case, detailing legal connections and judicial correspondence.

The documents show that in 2019, Weingarten formally requested US judicial authorities, on behalf of Epstein, to preserve and provide records related to the case. It is also confirmed that he had represented Fethullah Gulen in previous years and denied the charges against Gulen connected to the failed 2016 coup attempt in Turkey.

Fethullah Gulen is the leader of a group that the Turkish government designates as a terrorist organization and accuses him of playing a role in the failed July 2016 coup attempt. Sources close to Gulen announced on October 21, 2024, that he passed away at his residence in Pennsylvania, USA.

Jeffrey Epstein, accused of operating a network for sexual abuse of minors, died in a New York prison in 2019. His case implicated several international figures, including Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, and other former officials—an issue that continues to provoke extensive public questioning.
