Turkish Investors Show Interest in Investing in Herat Industrial Park

Several Turkish investors and traders, during a meeting with Noor Ahmad Islamjar, the governor of Herat, expressed their willingness to start investing in the province’s industrial park and requested cooperation from the local administration.

According to the information provided, these investors emphasized that for the realization of their economic projects, the provision of administrative, infrastructural, and legal facilities by the Herat local administration is crucial. Without these facilities, attracting investment would face significant challenges.

Noor Ahmad Islamjar welcomed this expression of interest and stated that the Herat local administration supports both domestic and foreign investments and promised that the necessary facilities will be provided in the industrial park for investors.

The governor of Herat also identified ensuring security, administrative transparency, and continuous cooperation with investors as priorities of the Taliban administration in the province. However, economic experts have repeatedly stressed that the practical fulfillment of these promises, especially under current conditions, requires clear guarantees, regulatory stability, and genuine confidence-building for both domestic and foreign investors.
