Residents of Nangarhar Protest Against Pakistani Attacks on Afghan Territory

A number of residents of Nangarhar province held a protest gathering condemning recent attacks by Pakistani forces on Afghan areas and expressing their support for the country’s defense forces. Participants in the protest described these attacks as violations of human rights principles.

According to several speakers at the event, attacks attributed to Pakistani military personnel have resulted in civilian casualties. They emphasized that targeting civilians is against internationally accepted norms and must be stopped.

The organizers of the gathering also called for serious attention from responsible institutions regarding the security situation in border areas. They urged the country’s defense forces to take decisive action against what they described as “aggression.”

This protest comes as similar demonstrations were held yesterday in several other provinces across the country in response to Pakistani attacks and in support of the defense forces.
