US F-16 Intercepts Civilian Aircraft Near Trump’s Florida Residence

The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) has announced that a United States Air Force F-16 fighter jet intercepted a civilian aircraft that violated restricted airspace over Palm Beach, Florida.
The incident occurred near the residence of current U.S. President Donald Trump, located in Mar-a-Lago in the southern part of Palm Beach. Under security regulations, all flights in the surrounding airspace are prohibited due to special security measures.
NORAD emphasized that detection of the unauthorized flight through the restricted airspace prompted the deployment of the F-16 fighter jet for identification and, if necessary, to direct the civilian aircraft out of the restricted zone.
This development comes as the security of high-ranking U.S. officials remains a top priority for Washington. However, the incident also highlights the ongoing need for transparency and accountability regarding airspace monitoring protocols in such areas. Credible governments typically share relevant information with their citizens—something notably absent under Taliban rule in Afghanistan.
