Southern Transitional Council Deputy Accuses Saudi Arabia of Treaty Violation

Hani bin Braik, the Vice President of Yemen’s Southern Transitional Council, accused Saudi Arabia of betrayal and treaty violations in southern Yemen, warning that these actions will have immediate and long-term consequences.
According to media reports citing Al Mayadeen, bin Braik fiercely claimed that Saudi Arabia targeted the people and leaders of the Southern Transitional Council, conducting what he described as “war crimes” through airstrikes. He also referred to the use of “terrorist tools,” emphasizing that these pressures will not weaken the determination and resistance of the people of southern Yemen.
Meanwhile, the Saudi-led coalition announced that Aidarus al-Zubaidi, the head of the Southern Transitional Council, left for an undisclosed location following approximately 15 airstrikes on the Zubid area in the Dhaleh governorate.
The report adds that Saudi airstrikes in this southern Yemeni region resulted in more than 25 casualties, including women and children; however, these claims have not been independently verified by separate sources.
