According to the BBC, in response to a question regarding Trump\u2019s threat to potentially withdraw US support for the UK, Starmer acknowledged the significant pressure he has faced to reconsider his decision. However, he stressed that as Prime Minister, he makes decisions based on the national interests of Britain.<\/p>\n
The UK Prime Minister also addressed speculation about a cooling relationship with the US President, stating that his country has no intention of choosing between Europe and the United States.
