According to a statement published on the official website of the International Islamic University Islamabad, the program aims to provide higher education opportunities for Afghanistan\u2019s younger generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this phase, 4,500 Afghan students will benefit from undergraduate, master\u2019s, and doctoral programs in fields such as medicine, engineering, agriculture, management, and computer science. The scholarships include living allowances, book expenses, accommodation, and tuition coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program comes at a time when the Taliban administration has imposed severe restrictions over the past two years on girls\u2019 education and higher education, increasing deprivation among Afghan youth\u2014particularly females\u2014and forcing many to seek academic opportunities abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the Indian government has also announced the opening of registration for 1,000 online scholarships dedicated to Afghan students.
