The newspaper Dawn reported on Monday, March 8, that the operation targeted a base known as &#8216;Shaheen&#8217; in Paktika.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, the mentioned depot was jointly used by the Afghan Taliban forces and the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). The media also claimed that another base near the Shawal area in South Waziristan was attacked.<\/p>\n<p>Dawn&#8217;s report stated that as a result of these attacks, Taliban forces from Afghanistan and what the newspaper described as &#8216;Fitna al-Khawarij&#8217; left the area.
