These incidents occurred between February 26 and March 1, with women and children among the victims.

Stephane Dujarric, spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, stated during a press conference that these figures are preliminary and subject to change. He added that the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) is continuing to document civilian casualties.

According to him, active fighting along border areas has imposed movement restrictions, which have hindered the ability of aid organizations and their partners to deliver vital assistance to affected regions. These limitations have particularly left Afghans who recently returned from Pakistan in a more vulnerable position.

The United Nations also warned of a potential increase in the return of migrants from Iran to Afghanistan, a development that could place additional strain on host communities and aid organizations. In such circumstances, ensuring civilian security and safe access to humanitarian aid remains a serious responsibility for the parties involved and the Taliban administration; however, concerns about the capacity and preparedness to simultaneously manage the security and humanitarian crisis persist.

UN reports at least 34 civilians killed and 89 injured in Pakistani military attacks in Afghanistan amid rising border tensions and migration concerns.

[17,5

post-8002","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-important-news","category-security-incidents
["GET
