Mohammad Hanif Atmar, former Afghan Foreign Minister, has condemned Pakistan’s recent attacks on civilian targets in Afghanistan, describing them as “cowardly and aggressive” and a clear violation of internationally accepted principles. He emphasized that such attacks will yield neither political achievements nor military benefits for Pakistan.<\/p>\n
Atmar stated that despite internal disagreements, the people of Afghanistan will stand united in defense of their country, a fact that history has also proven. He believes that past experiences have shown that military pressure on Afghanistan has failed to weaken the collective will of its citizens.<\/p>\n
He urged the Pakistani government and military to immediately end this “dangerous escalation.” According to Atmar, a fundamental solution lies in dialogue, effective action against terrorism, and the protection of rights and freedoms of people on both sides of the Durand Line.<\/p>\n
