He emphasized that the continuation of these tensions could have consequences beyond the two parties involved.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, 23 February, in a press conference, Baqaei said that developments between Islamabad and the Taliban administration also affect regional countries, including Iran. According to him, instability in Iran\u2019s neighborhood could result in security and economic repercussions.<\/p>\n<p>Iran\u2019s Foreign Ministry has urged both sides to resolve their disputes through dialogue and negotiation. Tehran stressed that reducing tensions and responsibly managing relations would benefit regional stability.<\/p>\n<p>This comes while Iran had previously hosted a regional meeting on Afghanistan aimed at easing tensions between Pakistan and the Taliban administration.
