Afghanistan is included on the official agenda of this meeting. On February 26 and 27, two reports and a specialized dialogue on the situation in Afghanistan are scheduled to be presented, alongside related side meetings.<\/p>\n<p>Nasir Ahmad Andisha, Afghanistan\u2019s Permanent Representative in Geneva, stated that the Afghanistan topic will involve the presentation of two reports and the holding of a specialized dialogue. According to him, the discussions will focus on the human rights situation in the country, especially in light of recent developments.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Richard Bennett, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the human rights situation in Afghanistan, will deliver his latest report concerning the rights of women and girls\u2014a subject that has become one of the primary concerns of the international community in recent years.<\/p>\n<p>At the opening of the session, UN officials, including the President of the General Assembly, highlighted violations of the rights of Afghan women and girls.
