Hamid Karzai, former President of Afghanistan, strongly condemned last night\u2019s Pakistani military airstrikes on parts of Nangarhar and Paktika provinces, calling them a clear violation of Afghanistan\u2019s national sovereignty.<\/p>\n
In a statement, Karzai urged Pakistani authorities to reconsider their policies towards Afghanistan and to adopt a path of good neighborliness based on civilized principles rather than military approaches. He emphasized that respecting the territorial integrity of nations is a fundamental principle in relations between states.<\/p>\n
At the same time, Abdul Salam Zaeef, former Afghan ambassador to Islamabad, also responded to the attacks. Writing on his X page, he described the airstrikes targeting civilians as a \u201ccowardly\u201d act, conflicting with Islamic principles, international norms, and rules of good neighborliness.<\/p>\n
