The incident took place in the Shikhan area of the Orakzai district.<\/p>\n<p>According to reports, the two sides exchanged fire using small arms. Local sources stated that the clash erupted following rising tensions between affiliates of the two groups.<\/p>\n<p>The main cause of the fighting is believed to be a dispute over extortion payments, highlighting financial rivalries and struggles for influence among armed groups in parts of the province.<\/p>\n<p>Among the dead are three ISIS-Khorasan members, including a commander named Abid, also known as Hamza.
