He made these remarks during a meeting with officials of the department in Kabul.<\/p>\n<p>Mohammad Khalid Hanafi, the minister of this department, said at the event that the promotion of virtue and prevention of vice is a characteristic of the \u201cIslamic system,\u201d and without it, no system can be considered Islamic. He emphasized the full implementation of the department\u2019s guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>Since the Taliban\u2019s return to power, the Promotion of Virtue office has expanded its activities across various areas, with its morality enforcers present in different social sectors. However, the department\u2019s operations have consistently faced widespread criticism from citizens and human rights organizations.<\/p>\n<p>Critics argue that the strict enforcement of certain regulations, especially those related to individual freedoms and women\u2019s rights, has led to significant restrictions on the daily lives of people.
