These initiatives aim to strengthen the economies of low-income families.

Khalil-ur-Rahman Siddiqui, head of publications at Laghman’s Department of Economics, stated that 400 individuals received work tools after completing a six-month training course. According to him, these aids were provided by the United Nations Women’s organizations, valued at 2.8 million Afghanis.

According to provided information, each person received a sewing machine stand, iron, scissors, gas cylinder, table, and other necessary items to enable them to start small economic activities at home or in their living areas after graduation.

In a separate report, the Northeast Zone Hunger Relief Directorate in Kunduz announced the graduation of 50 impoverished women from five-month vocational training courses. Mawlavi Ubaidullah Zubair, head of this directorate, said these women were trained in livestock management, embroidery, and fruit drying.

He added that the program aims to economically empower needy families. Additionally, each of these women will receive 46,500 Afghanis in two installments.

Economic experts emphasize that continuing such programs and creating market opportunities for home-based products play a crucial role in sustaining the incomes of low-income families. Otherwise, one-time aid alone cannot fundamentally solve the widespread issues of unemployment and poverty in the provinces.

Work tools and cash aid distributed to 450 vocational training graduates in Laghman and Kunduz to empower low-income families economically.

[17,8

post-7106","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-important-news","category-social-affairs
["GET
