Muhammad Sadiq, Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, has announced a meeting with Timothy Kane, Australia’s High Commissioner in Islamabad, to discuss cross-border terrorism and the regional security situation.<\/p>\n

The issue of cross-border terrorism emanating from Afghan territory has become a serious concern for Pakistan in recent years. Pakistani officials have consistently emphasized that certain groups opposing Islamabad use Afghanistan as a base to organize and carry out attacks.<\/p>\n
