He noted that, according to Iranian officials, the response of Iran\u2019s armed forces to these developments has led to the cessation of conflict and discussions on a ceasefire.<\/p>\n
The embassy head also stressed that Tehran\u2019s official policy is to pursue diplomacy alongside defending national sovereignty and territorial integrity. He added that decades-long pressures and sanctions have not fundamentally affected the political will of the Iranian regime.<\/p>\n
