Raja Nasir, a member of the Pakistani Senate and leader of the Muttahida Ulema Council party, accused the government and state institutions of neglecting citizens’ lives following his participation in the funeral of victims of the recent attack in Islamabad.<\/p>\n
He stated that in the current situation in Pakistan, human life no longer holds any value, and the successive bloody incidents reveal this bitter reality.<\/p>\n
The Pakistani senator claimed that the rulers’ way of functioning shows they are not chosen by the people’s will but rather imposed on society. According to him, the gap between the public and the power structure has increased worryingly.<\/p>\n
Raja Nasir added that public trust in the government and state institutions has completely eroded, as after every tragedy, officials merely issue statements with no sign of delivering justice.<\/p>\n
With a critical tone, he said, “Our greatest crime is being born in Pakistan,” emphasizing that the faces filled with pain, helplessness, and anger at the victims’ funeral reflect the deep despair within society.<\/p>\n
